Terryl Zerby
chairman
  • Terryl Zerby serves as the Chairman of GlobalXDigital, a privately held bitcoin mining company located in Oklahoma City.  He too is the founder and managing partner of Zerby Partners, LLC, the Manager of numerous real estate partnerships owning property in Oklahoma, Texas, and Florida.  Mr. Zerby began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBRE) in 1983 as a Retail and Investment Broker.
  • Mr. Zerby has over 35 years of experience in the investment, development, and management of real estate.  This experience includes activity in most real estate sectors with an emphasis toward retail and industrial properties.
  • Mr. Zerby is currently a Board Member and Director of NBC Bank, Oklahoma City, a member of the Board of Trustees Heritage Hall (a college preparatory school in Oklahoma City), a Board Governor of Oklahoma State University, an Advisory Board member of the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
  • Mr. Zerby received a B.A. in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University in 1983.
David Proman

  • David Proman is currently the CEO of GlobalXDigital, a renewable energy powered, private bitcoin miner and blockchain infrastructure company headquartered in Oklahoma City. Mr. Proman recently transitioned from his role as a Partner and Managing Director at Fir Tree, a New York based private investment firm that invests worldwide in public and private companies, real estate and sovereign debt.
  • Mr. Proman has significant merger and acquisition and capital markets transaction experience, negotiating, structuring and overseeing more than $10 billion in transactions related to Fir Tree investments and portfolio companies: including mergers, IPO sponsorships, rights offerings, securitizations, bespoke financings and more than two dozen creative legal settlements.
  • Mr. Proman served on the board of directors of both public and private companies, including many commodity production, infrastructure and real estate businesses. He is an expert in corporate governance and has also formed and led various steering committees on behalf of large institutional investors.
  • Prior to his role at Fir Tree, Mr. Proman was a Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Kore Advisors, a fixed income investment manager.
  • Mr. Proman received a B.A in Economics from the University of Virginia in 2004.
R Christian Wyatt

  • R Christian Wyatt is the Chief Strategy Officer of GlobalXDigital ("GXD"), a premier US-based privately held digital asset mining company. Prior to GXD, Mr. Wyatt was the Head of Multi­ Strategy Research at Angelo Gordon ("AG") and was a Partner at the firm. In this role, Mr. Wyatt worked closely with AG's Founder and Co-Chief Investment Officers, and was responsible for co­-managing AG's multi-strategy funds, overseeing AG's credit and arbitrage research processes, as well as the creation and development of risk, trading and portfolio management analytics, big data efforts and other technology related investment initiatives.
  • Prior to joining AG, Mr. Wyatt was a Director of Fir Tree Partners. At Fir Tree, Mr. Wyatt invested in large, concentrated, opportunistic value investments across the capital structure and asset classes globally and was responsible for idea sourcing, deep dive fundamental research and analysis, trade implementation and activist efforts. Prior to Fir Tree, Mr. Wyatt was an Associate at Blackstone where he was a founding member of Blackstone Special Situations Investing Group.
  • Mr. Wyatt received an A.B. Honors degree in Economics with Citations in Spanish and Italian from Harvard College and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is a CFA charterholder.
Carl Tipton

  • Carl Tipton serves as the Chief Mining Officer of GXD. He spent 20 years with Western Electric / AT&T / Lucent and Celestica in a variety of positions, including project engineer, engineering and logistics manager, production manager, purchasing director, CIO and director of engineering.
  • Additionally, Carl was a champion for Celestica's Six Sigma Black Belts, LEAN manufacturing director and a graduate of AT&T's Manufacturing Leadership Program.
  • Carl serves in various volunteer positions, including 2012 Chairman of the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He served on the OU - Edmond Medical Center Community Council, Edmond Public Schools' Foundation Board Chair, Francis Tuttle Business Incubator Admissions Committee and Regent Bank Market Advisory Board. He is a past advisory board member of the Oklahoma State University College of Industrial Engineering and Management and past board member of the OSU Engineering Alumni Association.
  • Mr. Tipton received his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University's College of Industrial Engineering and Management, and later earned a master's degree from Purdue's College of Industrial Engineering.
Tom Carlson

  • Tom Carlson, CPA, CGMA — Tom brings over 30 years of experience as a senior business leader in both publicly traded and privately held companies. He has helped shape and implement strategies in his roles as Managing Director, Sales and Operations Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Finance for companies ranging in size from approximately $50 million to $1.6 billion in net sales.
  • During the last three years, he has been consulting and serving as a contract CFO for a variety of clients as a partner with Core Business Advisors, PLLC.
  • Tom also spent 13 years in the auditing division of a Big Four public accounting firm, including 2 years in the firm's executive office. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and is an active member of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs (Ethics Committee member) and the AICPA.
Li Zhao
Director of Procurement
  • Li Zhao serves as the Director of Procurement for GXD. She specializes in international trade with nearly twenty years of experience. Ms. Zhao is also the founder and president of China Iowa Group, an international trade and investment firm based in Des Moines, Iowa, where she leverages her background and relationships to deliver exceptional results for her clients. A native of China, she spent 25 years there before living in Holland, the U.K. and the U.S.
  • Ms. Zhao has held positions at Agricredit and De Lage Landen — subsidiaries of Rabobank Group, one of the largest agricultural banks in the world. Her previous work experience also includes positions at a variety of international companies in China including New Oriental, Shanghai Phoenix Bicycle Import and Export Company, and American Greetings.
  • Ms. Zhao is the youngest board member of Bankers Trust's community board and also sits on the Board of Trustees for Grandview University. Her accomplishments have been recognized by receiving the Passport to Prosperity Award, The Business Record’s Forty Under 40, and the Governor’s Volunteer Award. She was also featured in the Des Moines Register’s “Feeding China”, an in-depth report exhibiting key players in China’s ever growing demand for food. She has been a guest on CNBC's "Closing Bell” the Chinese overseas TV station CGTN.
  • Ms. Zhao holds undergraduate and Master’s degrees in International Trade and Economics from Central South University in Changsha, China.
